A Weekend in The City

         At 10:30 in the morning on Friday the 16th I was off to New York… off to my favorite place during the holidays.  I was gitty yet I had some regret because it was such a last minute decision and I had responsibilities at home, AKA school plus a few other things.  But to be honest I was more excited than anything.  New York has held a strong place in my heart, I absolutely love the energy and creativity that lives there.  For those who have been, know what I mean.  In New York you can be whoever you want to be.  You can express yourself in ways you may be afraid to back at home. 

            In NYC you can be up at any hour and find an open restaurant or coffee shop, because it truly is a city that never sleeps.  I mean… it can’t.  NYC houses some of the wildest, craziest, loving minds around and their lives don’t consist of a sleep schedule.  The lights, the people, the shops, the metro, the cabs, all of it comes together to draw people in.  To draw me in. 

            My goal is to make my mind think so vividly in VB like it does in NYC.  I want to find inspiration in everything at home like I do in the city.  I want to feel free like I do in the city.  I want the city to be my new mindset.  One open to all new experiences, people, clothes, places, and all of the above.
